Ski resorts in Ukraine

Dragobrat is a ski resort located in Zakarpattya Region. It is the highest on Ukraine territory (1,8 km). Snow is available there from November till May.The slopes are tough and there isn’t much entertainment. This is a place for experienced skiers, so if you are a beginner, it isn’t for you. Dragobrat remains one of the best destinations in Ukraine for those who look for something off-the-beaten track.
It’s not safe to drive there your own car, the best decision is to take train or local public transportation. The prices for accommodation are really reasonable. Most likely you will stay in locally owned guesthouse.
Slavske ski resort
Located in Lviv Region, this Ukrainian ski resort is popular among the students, young people and almost everyone who lives in Lviv or other nearby cities and villages. There are four mountains in Slavske which give plenty of opportunities for ski lovers. The mountains Polytechnic and Pohar are great for beginners, advanced skiers can choose Trostian and Znyvets mountains.
Snow in Slavske is available December to March. Slavske ski resort is famous for its good food, fast service and reasonable prices.
Azov sea resorts
If you want to spend your vacation by the seaside, Ukraine gives you the possibility to choose between Azov and Black Seas. Sea of Azov is shallower than Black Sea, and warmer. Ukrainians choose the Sea of Azov for summer vacation with small children. It’s cheaper to rest on Azov sea beaches compared to Crimea and other Black Sea resorts, but there isn’t good infrastructure and there isn’t a lot to see.
Berdyansk is an urban resort in the southern part of Ukraine. It is often called “the gem of Azov Sea”. The resort is known for its sandy beaches, mild climate and a great number of sanatoriums.
